PUBLISHED IN AN INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL CYBERWIT FOR ‘THE TAJ

One day I was reading a news paper had a head line

A girl suffered a lot with all heinous crime

Followed by few lines denigrating the system

Somehow allowing such criminals to have fun

Yet that miserable survived to stood up

How brave was she to face up!

I closed the newspaper out of my scary sense

Thought for a while what was actually that?

Was that the only leading way to the fate?

My eyes tear, my ears pain, my heart fears how shame?

I am not safe in the city of mine

Likely to entails all safe and sound life

As being a citizen I feel guilty, how couldn’t anything to save me

Why just words over words to grab our trust

Seems habituated to beat up with such unnecessary words

It’s been years to see one genuine promise

Once I studied in my history book of seven

I felt bore during my classes

But now realized how important was that?

When life is not within any security accept various symbols

Ads, campaign and parties to get assemble

Controversies, criticisms to prove them able

Having no existence of human any more

As inhumanity is cackling over and over

Is there anybody would ever concern of my desolate

What I feel in my every day journey

From one thought to another thought

Carrying unacceptable sequence of life

Fear, heat, rape and what’s not!

What if my ahead has dirty short?

Where no escape favours me to hold my breath

“And relax to enchant ‘thank God’

I am safe in my city of heart”

But that’s all my imagination within my eyes

I am not safe in the city of mine

Likely to entails all safe and sound life
